Slovenia's young generation of architects is well educated. Many of them took advantage of the opening of Slovenia to study at the AA in London, at the Berlage Institute, or in Los Angeles.

Back in the young nation they have been entrusted to plan large public projects such as the Chamber of Commerce, University buildings or housing construction.

Slovenia owes them its reputation as a small country with an exceptionally high density of excellent contemporary architecture.
